Hand Knit Baby Set

Everything a baby needs! A warm and cozy blanket, approximately 2 feet square. Decorated with ribbon around the edge. A matching hat will cover Baby's ears when it is cold and stay in place with ties. And little socks will keep those toes toasty. The blanket is $40, the hat is $15, the socks are $15. The complete set is only $65. Shown in pink, but available in blue and other baby cuddly colors. Email me to select color.

Hand Knit Baby Booties

Woven shawl from Hand-Spun yarn

You select the details of this custom-made shawl. You pick the fiber color or colors and the length of the fringe. I will spin the yarn and weave the shawl to your specifications. This shawl will show your personality to everyone you meet. A unique variation is a shawl without the back point - this makes for a great wrap for those who like to read or watch TV in bed. Toss your alpaca bed-wrap around your shoulders and stay cozy until you are ready to retreat under the covers. Shawls are priced from $95.

Mittens in all sizes

Knit with 100% alpaca yarn these mittens are warm and durable. For extra warmth, get a pair that has been felted after being knit. And to make them really special, have them dyed in the color of your choice. Choose your favorite Kool-aid flavor and I'll dye yarn to that color. Or chose a pair 'off the shelf'! The smaller sizes are $15. The smallest mittens are attached to a cord. The larger sizes are $18.

Scarf and Handbag Set

Knit of yarn from our alpacas and a novelty eye-lash yarn, here is a matching set. The scarf is 7 inches wide and 54 inches long with a 7 inch fringe, with a unique design of 2-color fringe on pointed ends of the scarf. It sells for $40. The handbag is knit and then felted for a firm fabric. It is 9 inches wide and 6 inches tall. The flap is closed with an antique button. The handle can be tucked inside or used to carry the bag. It sells for $35.

Natural Dyed Yarn

This is some of the 100% alpaca yarn I've dyed with natural dyestuff. The silver yarn was dyed with hollyhock blossoms, the light yellow was dyed with mullein (yes, it is a road-side weed!), the yellow is onion skins, the dark brown is black walnut husks. I have 8 oz skeins in lace weight (2500 yds), sport weight (665 yds), and bulky (200 yds). Each skein is $30. I also have 4 oz and 8 oz skeins of various weights dyed with Kool-Aid.

Imported Teddy Bears

These bears are made from alpaca pelts and are so soft you have to touch to believe. They are about 13 inches tall. Every bear is different - you are sure to find one that is the perfect match for you or someone special. Priced at $35 they are a great gift.
