Name: EmbraceARI#: 820596 Birthdate: July 24, 2000 Embrace and Araucano were the best of friends as they raised their first five crias together. By the time we sold Araucano, Embrace had several of her offspring here. My favorite story about Embrace is how she has 'grown up' on our farm. She was pregnant when we purchased her. She was here about 4 1/2 months when she gave birth to her first cria, Ruby. She was not the greatest mother. She would wander off to eat and forget she had a cria to take care of. Eventually either Embrace or Ruby would find the other. Ruby grew up just fine, but I had some nervous moments. With each cria Embrace has given birth to, she has become a more attentive mom. I think she just needed to grow up a little before she was ready to take on the challenge of being a mom! Embrace is no longer with us. She passed away on December 21, 2010.
